Gearbox problem for Raikkonen in Turkey

May 9 (GMM) World champion Kimi Raikkonen was stranded in last place in Friday morning practice at Istanbul, following a gearbox problem.

The Finn managed only three laps in his F2008, but word from the pitlane is that the broken unit will be repaired rather than replaced ahead of the afternoon session at 2pm.

Raikkonen's troubles were in stark contrast to the fortunes of his teammate, Felipe Massa, who topped the time sheets, despite a few spins.
