Apr.23 (GMM) Key figures of the financially embattled Super Aguri team have all travelled to Barcelona for this weekend's Spanish grand prix, it has emerged.

Boss Aguri Suzuki, managing director Daniele Audetto and drivers Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson are all in the vicinity of the Circuit de Catalunya, but whether the team can escape its own demise is still to be known.

It was earlier revealed that all the small Japanese team's transporters, including the one carrying the Honda powered SA08 cars, had been dispatched to the venue, and they have now been followed by team staff such as mechanics and engineers, who left the Leafield headquarters on Wednesday.

A team spokesperson was however unavailable to update the status of talks to save Suzuki's team, amid rumours that a deal with the Magma Group - whose expected Dubai backing recently fell through - was again a possibility.

More should be known prior to the commencement of free practice on Friday, following a scheduled meeting between Suzuki and his staff the day before.
