British President of the Formula One Organisation Administration Bernie Ecclestone
LONDON, May 22, 2008 (AFP) - Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone has raised further doubts over the future of the British Grand Prix.
The race is currently held at Silverstone but next year´s event could be the last under the British Racing Drivers Club´s deal with Ecclestone.
Ecclestone has been a constant critic of Silverstone´s facilities in the past and remains unconvinced they will improve anytime soon.
"I suppose they could come back to me. They could get the building done in six months. But I would not put any money on it," he told the Daily Telegraph.
"The BRDC know the terms. If they meet them, then we are in business. But at the moment they can´t and therefore there is no race in 2010."
