Coulthard's car stops in morning practice

May 22 (GMM) David Coulthard's preparations for the Monaco grand prix got off to a poor start on Thursday morning.

Half way through the initial morning practice session, the Scottish veteran's Red Bull RB4 slowed in the street circuit's famous tunnel.

He abandoned the car in an escape road near the harbour chicane without having set a single timed lap.
