May 2 (GMM) Red Bull will next weekend give yet another youngster the opportunity to test a formula one car.

Following in the footsteps of fellow Red Bull junior drivers Robert Wickens, of Canada, and New Zealand's Brendon Hartley - who recently gave Toro Rosso's 2008 car its track debut - an 18-year-old Spaniard is set to sample the power of a grand prix machine.

In a press statement on Friday, the Milton Keynes based outfit announced that Jaime Alguersuari is to pilot this year's RB4 at Spain's Idiada Proving Ground while the race team contests the Turkish grand prix at Istanbul.

The Spaniard is currently third in the British F3 championship, and Red Bull said the straight line aerodynamic test is a reward for his "strong performances on the track".

Regular Red Bull tester Sebastien Buemi is unavailable for the test because he will be in Turkey for the GP2 round.
