Blocked road not affecting Force India

The entrance of the Force Inda factory nearby the Silvertone Circuit, England
Mar.28 (GMM) The Force India team has played down reports that former owner Eddie Jordan restricted access to its Silverstone factory.

It emerged this week that, in trying to force the team's new owners to buy surrounding lands, founder Eddie Jordan placed concrete blocks on an access road to the facility in rural Northamptonshire.

But a spokesman insists that Jordan's actions have not affected the operation of the team.

"There are two approach roads to the Silverstone facility and the main public road remains open and the visitors and staff have normal and usual access," he said.

The Force India spokesman confirmed that Jordan has indeed blocked a road.

"The second road created by Eddie Jordan during his ownership has been closed by him as he wishes to explore alternative uses for is land. This in no way affects Force India," he explained.
