Jan.15 (GMM) A new sponsor will shortly be announced officially by the Williams team, a Dutch publication on Tuesday said.

McGregor, a high-end European fashion label from Holland, has joined the Oxfordshire based team and is already represented on the FW29 car that is being tested at Jerez this week, f1today.nl reports.

The Dutch company's logo can be seen on the helmets of Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima at Jerez, as well as near the single seater's head rest.

McGregor entered formula one as a sponsor with the Spyker team in 2007.

"I can confirm that McGregor is a new partner of ours," a Williams spokesman confirmed to the website.

"An official press bulletin of this is coming soon."

The spokesman confirmed that McGregor will also replace Puma as Williams' clothing supplier.
