Apr.27 (GMM) Stewards decided to take no action after investigating the collision on Sunday between David Coulthard and Timo Glock.

The pair came together during the Spanish grand prix as Glock, who drives for Toyota, tried to pass Red Bull's Coulthard on the inside as the Scot closed the door.

They were summoned to the stewards' room to explain the incident, but no further action was taken.

"He left me a bit of space and then closed it and I crashed into him," Germany's Glock said.

Coulthard explained: "I took a defensive line to show Glock that I knew he was there, but he hit the rear of my car and punctured a tyre."

Coulthard, the 37-year-old Scot, was however fined 4000 euros for not turning up for the drivers' parade before the race at the Circuit de Catalunya.
