BERLIN, April 23, 2008 (AFP) - Michael Schumacher´s agent and advisor told a German magazine the seven-time Formula One world champion is wanted by a Hollywood producer to act in a film telling his life story.

The 39-year-old Schumacher retired in 2006 and has been employed by Ferrari ever since as a test driver. He won 91 Grand Prix, was on the podium 154 times between 1991 and 2006 to become the most successful driver in the history of Formula One, a sport which has not captured the imagination in the USA.

Willi Weber told Bunte magazine, which appears on Thursday: "A Hollywood producer is interested in the life of Michael Schumacher and a film would be called the "Michael Schumacher Story" with him as the main actor."
