Ferrari in front, Schumacher says

Apr.17 (GMM) Michael Schumacher said on Thursday he believes Ferrari has an edge over its two rivals going into next weekend's Spanish grand prix.

The 39-year-old German tested the Italian team's 2008 car, the F2008, at the Circuit de Catalunya on Wednesday.

"I think there are three teams currently fighting at the front," the former seven time world champion on Thursday told his personal website, presumably also referring to McLaren and BMW.

"I like this situation; it is good for the sport if three teams are doing well, closely together.

"But I do believe that we might have a little advantage," Schumacher, still a Ferrari advisor and occasional test driver, added.

"Therefore, I presume that Felipe and Kimi are the favourites for the race next week," he said.
