Barcelona testing for new Force India F1 team

BARCELONA, Spain, Nov 10, 2007 (AFP) - The newly-renamed Force India F1 Team confirmed Saturday they will embark on a three-day test at the Circuit de Catalunya here from November 13-15.
The former Spyker team will use contracted test drivers Roldan Rodriguez of Spain and Giedo van der Garde of the Netherlands to open the test while team driver Adrian Sutil of Germany will be joined by Austrian Christian Klien and Vitantonio Liuzzi of Italy.
The team will use two of the Ferrari-powered former Spyker F8-VII chassis in their new interim burgundy red and white colour livery.
Spyker F1 were purchased last month by Indian billionaire Vijay Mallya and Dutch businessman Michiel Mol.
Rodriguez, 22, competed in the GP2 series this season with the Minardi Piquet Sports team, while Klien, 24, competed with Jaguar Racing from 2004 and remained with the team under its new name of Red Bull Racing in 2006.
Liuzzi raced for Toro Rosso this year. The Italian´s best finish was sixth in China. He joined Red Bull Racing in 2005 and moved to Toro Rosso for 2006.
