Glock manager confirms Toyota rumours

Sep.9 (GMM) Timo Glock's manager has confirmed rumours that the GP2 frontrunner is in with a chance of replacing Ralf Schumacher next year at Toyota.

Hans-Bernd Kamps admitted at Monza that talks are ongoing with "several teams".

"Also Toyota," he told the German broadcaster Premiere, following speculation that a deal may already be done.

Kamps explained: "A few things still have to be sorted out but we have a good chance. We will see -- it is still going to take about 14 days."

It is believed that if Glock's sterling GP2 campaign so far does not result in a F1 race appointment for him next year, BMW-Sauber would happily keep him on board as primary test and reserve driver.
