Sep.30 (GMM) After crashing out of the Japanese grand prix, Alex Wurz's grim mood was boosted by some good news from back home.

His wife Julia, whom Wurz met when she worked as Benetton's press lady some years ago, gave birth on Sunday to their third son.

"Mother and baby are absolutely fine," the 33-year-old Austrian said, revealing that the latest addition to his family is named Oscar.

Wurz will now return to Europe to see his wife and son before flying to Shanghai for the weekend's Chinese grand prix.
