SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS, Belgium, Sept 16, 2007 (AFP) - Finland´s Kimi Raikkonen, in a Ferrari, won the Belgian Grand Prix, the 14th leg of the 17-race world championship here Sunday.

Raikkonen, who started from pole position, finished ahead of Ferrari teammate Felipe Massa to give the Italian team their third 1-2 of the season which sealed the constructors championship crown.

McLaren drivers Fernando Alonso, the world champion, and Lewis Hamilton, the championship leader, finished in third and fourth place respectively.

Alonso´s third place finish meant he closed the gap further on Hamilton to just two points. The Spaniard, the champion in 2006 and 2005 with the Renault team, has 95 points to Hamilton´s 97.

McLaren were dramatically ejected from the constructors´ championship and fined 100 million dollars in midweek after their role in a spying affair on rivals Ferrari.

The next Formula One race will be held on the brand new circuit of Fuji, Japan in two weeks´ time.
