Oct.16 (GMM) Toyota has denied that Timo Glock is on the verge of being announced as Ralf Schumacher's successor at the team for 2008.

Reports indicate that a deal for the newly crowned GP2 champion could be formalised after Sunday's Brazilian grand prix, but a spokesperson for the Japanese squad said: "These are all rumours.

"Nothing is signed yet," the Toyota representative told sport1.de.

"We are still in the process of analysing everything. There are some candidates."
