Rosberg offered $21m Toyota deal - report

Oct.15 (GMM) A German newspaper has disagreed with conflicting reports that say Timo Glock has now agreed a deal to race for Toyota in 2008.

The Sunday publication 'Welt am Sonntag' claimed at the weekend that while newly crowned GP2 champion Glock is a contender for the seat alongside Jarno Trulli, the Japanese team is actually keener on a different German youngster.

The newspaper says it has learned that 22-year-old Nico Rosberg, whose current team Williams is supplied engines by Toyota, has been offered a $21m per year contract starting in 2008.

Rosberg, however, remains under contract to his current Grove based team for 2008, and his boss Sir Frank Williams said a few weeks ago: "Nico is not for sale."
